Over the past couple of weeks both LinkedIn and The Student Room (TSR) have been subject to attacks resulting in usernames and passwords being compromised. Both sites have recommended that people change their passwords to protect their accounts.

We recommend that you also change your HE Comms passwords if any were identical to those used on LinkedIn or TSR. We haven't had any issues but if you use the same password for LinkedIn/TSR that you use for this site, then it would be worth changing all passwords.
