Grade 7 £30,424 - £34,223 (with possible progression to £38,522)
The University is seeking to recruit a dynamic web marketing manager to develop its website and online presence more generally.
The role will focus on the strategic development of the website; content strategy and site governance; writing copy for the site; and providing copy-writing advice and support to staff across the University.
The University has embarked on a website re-development project, with good progress so far, and the post holder will manage this project.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution in a university that is making a step change in is approach to its online presence.
The successful candidate will make decisions informed by their expertise of all matters relating to web content, copywriting, new and emerging web technologies, search engine optimization, and online social media.
They will have a degree level education with relevant experience in a web (marketing) role. They will have significant project management experience and of working with content management systems. They will have excellent writing skills, and will be highly organised. Proactive in approach, they will also have first class interpersonal and influencing skills, and a strong sense of design.
